Microchef is an iPhone app from Featherweight Labs LLC. It reads your spices, equipment, and fridge, then writes recipes around the macros you chose — cut, maintain, or bulk. This page covers how the app works, subscriptions, coaches, partnerships, and how to reach us.

About the app

Microchef runs on iPhone. A typical flow:

• Set up once — photograph your spice shelf and cooking tools.
• Pick a goal — cut, maintain, or bulk — before you shoot ingredients.
• Photograph your fridge. Optionally add, remove, or suggest a cuisine.
• Get a recipe with estimated macros, then cook it.
• Unlock themes and fill your Microdex as you cook more meals.

Macros shown in the app are estimates, not lab measurements, and are not medical or professional nutrition advice. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Getting started

• Download Microchef from the App Store and create an account.
• Allow camera access when asked — photos power the kitchen read.
• Complete setup (spices and tools) before your first fridge photo for the best results.
• If a photo fails to process, try better lighting, a clearer frame, and a stable shot, then retry.

Account & troubleshooting

• Sign-in issues — email Support@microchef.app from the address on the account, with your Apple ID email if different.
• Delete my account — request deletion in the app where available, or email Support@microchef.app and we will process it.
• Wrong ingredients or recipes — vision can miss or misread items. Edit ingredients before generating when you can; send us examples if something keeps failing.
• Crashes or bugs — include your iPhone model, iOS version, and what you were doing when it broke.

Subscriptions & billing

If Microchef offers paid plans, they are billed through Apple as in-app purchases. Featherweight Labs does not charge your card directly for App Store subscriptions.

• Manage or cancel — on your iPhone: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Microchef. Or visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
• Refunds — request refunds from Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves.
• Restore purchases — use Restore in the app after reinstalling or switching devices, signed in with the same Apple ID.
• Billing questions — email Support@microchef.app with your Apple ID email and an approximate purchase date. For charge disputes on the receipt, Apple Support is the authority.

Coaches

If you join with a coach's code, that coach can see meals and macros tied to your profile through their account. Leave the coach relationship in the app to stop sharing new meals. Questions about a specific coach connection: Support@microchef.app.

Partnerships

For brand collabs, affiliate ideas, gym or coaching programs, press, or other business partnerships, email Support@microchef.app with the subject line Partnership and a short pitch. Tell us who you are, what you have in mind, and how to reach you.

Privacy & data

How we handle photos, account data, and coach visibility is explained in the Privacy Policy. Privacy requests can go to the same support address.
